Privacy and cookies
SoleKit does not receive the details you type into its tools. Invoices, calculations and payslips are generated in your browser and stored only in your browser’s local storage. We collect anonymous page view statistics and, with your consent, show advertising from Google that may use cookies.
What data do the tools process?
Business names, addresses, bank details, client details and figures you enter are processed on your device by JavaScript. They are not transmitted to SoleKit. Share links encode the document in the link itself, so only send a share link to someone you want to see that document.
What is stored in my browser?
- Essential: your saved business details, logo, last invoice number, chosen template and your cookie choice. This storage is needed for the tools to work as described and does not require consent.
- Analytics: if enabled, a cookieless page view count (Plausible) or, where Google Analytics is configured, cookies set only after you consent.
- Advertising: Google AdSense sets cookies to show personalised ads if you accept. If you reject, ads are non-personalised and no advertising cookies for personalisation are set.
Who are the third parties?
Google (AdSense and, where configured, Analytics) and Plausible Analytics. Google’s own privacy policy covers how it uses advertising data. Fonts are served from this site, not from Google Fonts.
What are my rights?
Under UK GDPR you can ask what personal data we hold about you and ask for it to be deleted. In practice we hold none unless you email us, in which case we keep the email for as long as needed to reply. To clear everything stored by the tools, clear this site’s data in your browser settings or use the “Clear saved details” button on any tool.
